Problem IC94172 | Status: Closed |
DB2 on AIX unable to find user when using Transparent LDAP.
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2
Problem description: | |
There is a defect in DB2's Transparent LDAP feature on AIX, when there is a mixed use of DB2 users that are defined locally and on LDAP, there could be intermittent cases where a DB2 user defined locally will not be found by DB2. A -1224 error may be returned to any db2 processing causing the transaction to terminate. Not enough or no messages are dumped into db2diag.log when this happens. db2 traces on a command will provide details if user is hitting this issue.
