DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC94228 Status: Closed

CCA3018N WHEN USING DB2CFIMP DUE TO WRITE PERMISSION MISSING ON INPUT FILE

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description:
Using db2cfimp to import a configuration may fail with the
following error if the user does not have both read and write
permission on the input file:

CCA3018N The user does not have sufficient authority to access
the file.

db2cfimp is opening the input file for both read and write in
order to obtain an exclusive lock on the file. This APAR will
remove the requirement for the input file to also require write
permission.
