DB2 - Problem description

FEDERATION SERVER QUERY RESPONSE SLOWLY

Problem description:
You see federated query get slow on AIX 6. 
 
From db2 trace, you could see load Federation Server wrapper get 
slow.  Only AIX 6 and higher AIX have this problem. 
 
You could use the following script to reproduce this problem. 
while [ 1 -eq 1 ] 
 
do 
 
  db2 connect to dbname 
 
  db2 "select count(*) from nickname1" 
 
  sleep 2 
 
  db2 connect reset 
 
done
