DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC95436 Status: Closed

JDBC DOESN'T REPORT SQLCODE 100 WHEN NO DATA IS UPDATED OR DELETED

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A50 - DB2
Problem description:
JDBC wrapper doesn't report SQLCODE +100 when no data is
updated or deleted. This because the JDBC driver doesn't
report any warning when NO data is updated or deleted.

For example:

db2 =>  SELECT * FROM N1

c1          c2
----------- ----------
          1 3343
          2 123

  2 record(s) selected.

db2 => UPDATE N1 SET "c1" = '123' where "c1"=3
DB20000I The SQL command completed successfully.

The expected result is:
SQL0100W No row was found for FETCH, UPDATE or DELETE; or the
result of a
query is an empty table. SQLSTATE=02000
