DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC95945 | Status: Closed |
WHEN YOU RUN "DB2LICM -R DB2CONPE" FOR DB2 CONNECT PERSONAL EDITION, NO FILES ARE REMOVED FROM THE TIVREADY DIRECTORY.
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
When you run "db2licm -r db2conpe" to remove the license from a DB2 Connect Personal Edition installation, no files are removed from the tivready directory. The presence of the file db2conpe97_.sys or db2conpe97_t.sys in the tivready directory should indicate to IBM Tivoli License Manager that there is a license for DB2 Connect Personal Edition. When you run "db2licm -r db2conpe", the file db2conpe97_.sys or db2conpe97_t.sys ought to be removed from the tivready directory. This APAR fix will ensure that those files do get removed from the tivready directory when you run "db2licm -r db2conpe" for a DB2 Connect Personal Edition installation.
