Problem description: | |
DB2 pureScale will not start on Redhat version 6 if hostname in db2nodes.cfg and output of hostname command do not match. Details: If the hostname of the machine is using the long version as a fully qualified host name ( as shown by the output of the hostname command ) and the db2nodes.cfg contains the hostname in the short form. Or if the hostname is the short version and the db2nodes.cfg contains the fully qualified name, DB2 pureScale may fail to start. This is caused by a Linux Redhat bug here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=714823 | |
