DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC96452 | Status: Closed |
HADR STANDBY CAN BE SLOW DUE TO INDEX MAINTENANCE
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
HADR standby can slow down due to index maintenance. The reason is due to the fact that lot of the index page split, page merge and other records generated in the log are mostly tablespace blocking records which cause them to run serially on the same tablespace. Some log records related to create/reorg index have also had their blocking level improved to allow for faster replay on the standby.
