CREATE STATISTICAL VIEW ON COLUMNAR STORAGE (BLU) TABLE FAILS WITH SQL1667N
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A50 - DB2
Problem description: | |
Creating a statview which references a columnar storage based table is blocked and fails with SQL1667N. In the example below one of the tables (T1,T2) needs to be a columnar table. The view creation itself works: CREATE VIEW SV_Q2Q3 (c1) AS ( SELECT 1 FROM T1 AS Q2, T2 AS Q3 WHERE (Q3.DATAB <= Q2.STARTDATUM) AND (Q2.STARTDATUM <= Q3.DATBI) AND (Q2.DAN = Q3.DAN) ) DB20000I The SQL command completed successfully. But the ALTER VIEW ... ENABLE QUERY OPTIMIZATION fails: ALTER VIEW SV_Q2Q3 ENABLE QUERY OPTIMIZATION DB21034E The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was not a valid Command Line Processor command. During SQL processing it returned: SQL1667N The operation failed because the operation is not supported with the type of the specified table. Specified table: "DPERMT.F55EKP_A_L_T". Table type: "ORGANIZE BY COLUMN". Operation: "ALTER TABLE". SQLSTATE=42858
