DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC96985 Status: Closed

In a pureScale HADR system, hosts configured with full length IP addresses
will fail to form a pair with remote database.

Problem description:
In a pureScale HADR system when the HADR hosts are conifgured 
with a full length IP address like 192.168.142.101 will fail to 
form a connection with the remote HADR database. 
 
Messages similar to following might show up in the db2diag.log

Local Fix:
Configure the HADR host with an IP address such that the total 
length is less than 15 characters. An example would be 
192.168.142.10 .
