DB2 - Problem description

Problem IT01182 Status: Closed

SETTING DB2PATH MAY CAUSE FAILURE TO START THE INSTANCE

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2
Problem description:
On Unix/Linux environment, the registry variable DB2PATH is used
to point to the location of the network mounted client. If this
registry variable is defined on the server or local client and
the server installation , it confuses the server code and
starting instance might fail with error SQL5005C.
As a solution for the problem, DB2 instance manager should
ignore the DB2PATH
value on non-network mounted client environment"
