Problem description: | |
DB2 installation on Solaris 10+ results in the following error: ERROR: sh: svccfg: not found Error configuring the service: svccfg command failed with rc=256 Starting DB2 Fault Monitor :.......Failure This error is specific to Solaris 10+ and occurs if the '/usr/sbin' directory is not present as part of the PATH environment variable. In order to locally resolve this issue, the '/usr/sbin' directory must be added to the PATH. | |
