Informix - Problem description

Problem IT02954 Status: Closed

CANNOT DROP OR REUSE DBSPACES THAT WAS USED FOR A TENANT DATABASE

product:
INFORMIX SERVER / 5725A3900 / C10 - IDS 12.10
Problem description:
Creating a tenant database leads to the error: "Cannot drop the
Space. ISAM error: DBspace is not empty" regardless of the fact
that the database space is empty. A simple test case shows that
the below sequence fails.

create database space, tenant create database, drop database,
drop database space

Furthermore a reusing of the database space with "tenant create
database" fails as well with error "(expression) DBSpace
[pmr03135dbs1] is not empty."
