PURGING OF EXTRA LOG FILES CAN TAKE A LONG TIME |

| Problem description: |
After a transaction log archiving failure the number of log
files will increase. Once the log files are then successfully
archived the purging of the extra log files may take a long time
to complete.
Currently only one of the extra log files are considered for
deletion when new log file is required. With this fix the number
of log files to be purged will be increased. |
