On Linux/390 operating systems, db2start may fail with the following error db2start: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory libstdc++.so.5 is a required library for Linux/390 machines. db2prereqcheck will be enhanced by this APAR to detect if libstdc++.so.5 is installed. | |
