ACS FILES PRESENT IN $INSTHOME/SQLLIB/ACS WHEN CLIENT INSTANCE CREATED FROM SERVER INSTALL
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2
Problem description: | |
It is possible to create a client instance using a server install of DB2 by specifying the "-s client" switch when using the db2icrt command. However, on AIX, the ACS files are incorrectly being copied into the $INSTHOME/sqllib/acs directory. The ACS path may be larger than 800MB and is unnecessary for a DB2 client instance.
