ASSERTION FAILURE POSSIBLE WHEN ATTEMPTING A DEFRAGMENT OPERATION ON PARTITION NUMBER |

When you by accident attempt a "defragment partnum" operation on
a partition number which does not happen to contain a "normal"
partition page you might receive an Assertion Failure:
Assert Warning: pthdrpage:ptalloc:bad partn page

This has been observed when the partition number is pointing to
a secondary partition page or an alter descriptor page.
The Assertion Failure is of type Warning, therefore the instance
will stay online. |
