DB2 - Problem description

Problem IT07652 Status: Closed

HADR STANDBY TRAPPED WHEN ATTEMPTING TO LOG A MESSAGE TO DB2DIAG.LOG DUE TO
ERROR IN CHANGING HADR_REMOTE_XXX DB CFG PARAMETERS

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A50 - DB2
Problem description:
HADR standby tries to change its HADR_REMOTE_HOST,
HADR_REMOTE_SVC, HADR_REMOTE_INST configuration when it receives
a redirect message from the primary.

In unexpected situation where the configuration update fails
(this is typically due to some other APAR), DB2 will generate a
message to db2diag.log to report the error.

Then incorrect input is used to generate the message, which
can result in a trap and bring down the instance.
