product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A50 - DB2 | |
Problem description: | |
When DB2 retrieves an archive log file, it tries to create a temporary file. This file should be deleted immediately, but if it remains for some reason, it will cause SQLO_FREV error and leak a file handle. Here is the db2diag.log example: 2015-05-12-09.46.30.847578+540 I27880345A628 LEVEL: Error PID : 23527480 TID : 4114 PROC : db2sysc INSTANCE: sminst2 NODE : 000 DB : SMDB2 HOSTNAME: y5isvdev15 EDUID : 4114 EDUNAME: db2lfr.0 (SMDB2) FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, data protection services, sqlpPathTest, probe:245 MESSAGE : ZRC=0x070F00CB=118423755=SQLO_FREV "File already exists."
