Problem IT09485 | Status: Closed |
IWA: ASSERTION FLUSHEDBLOCKS >= EXPECTEDBLOCKS POSSIBLE WHEN REFRESH MART IS DONE
product: | |
INFORMIX SERVER / 5725A3900 / C10 - IDS 12.10
Problem description: | |
When you perform a refresh mart operation on a mart which has a dimension table on which updates are done you might observe an assertion: (U0001) - error: AQT10050I: An internal error occurred on the 'ACC2' accelerator: An assertion 'flushedBlocks >= expectedBlocks' failed. Additional info: Wrote 2 new blocks but flushed only 1 blocks for table "schemaname"."tab1" In the message log of the server the Informix Warehouse Accelerator is running on you will then find the same assertion message: An assertion 'flushedBlocks >= expectedBlocks' failed. Additional info: Wrote 2 new blocks but flushed only 1 blocks for table "schemaname"."tab1" This can happen when the dimension table has a reference tag in the mart definition and the Informix Warehouse Accelerator instance has been restarted after the last load or refresh of the mart. Once this happens the mart is in a load pending state, a further refresh mart attempt will fail because of this mart state and the mart needs to be fully loaded again.
