DB2 - Problem description
Problem IT09999 | Status: Closed |
OWNER OF INDEX IS NOT PRESERVED WHEN ADMIN_MOVE_TABLE TARGET IS A BLU TABLE
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A50 - DB2
Problem description: | |
During admin_move_table procedure the owner of indexes does change to the caller of the procedure when the procedure is called with option 'ORGANIZE BY COLUMN' in order to move a table and its indexes from row organized to column organized (BLU table). The table itself keeps its original owner, only the indexes are affected. This change of the index owner may lead to authorization issues during later index operations, for example SQL0552N "USER1" does not have the privilege to perform operation "RENAME INDEX". SQLSTATE=42502
