Problem description: | |
DB2 version 11.1 incorrectly lists libstdc++.so.5 as a prerequisite for installation on Linux 390 (Linux 64-bit, zSeries), but there is no actual runtime dependency for that library. Currently db2prereqcheck reports the following when library is not installed: $ db2prereqcheck -i -l Requirement not matched for DB2 database "Server" . Version: "11.1.0.0". Summary of prerequisites that are not met on the current system: DBT3510E The db2prereqcheck utility was unable to find the following required library file: "libstdc++.so.5". | |
