DB2 - Problem description

Problem IT17403 Status: Closed

CONNECTION TO DB2 DATABASE USING ODBC DRIVER MANAGER IN MAC OS XFAILS WITH
SQL1024N ERROR

product:
DB2 CONNECT / DB2CONNCT / B10 - DB2
Problem description:
ODBC Driver Manager that comes from Apple, is failing to connect
to DB2 database using DB2 CLI. It fails with error SQL1024N
error.

It fails because DB2 understands only UTF-16, where as mac uses
UTF-32.

To overcome this, we have introduced a new db2dsdriver.cfg
keyword UTF32Encoding. User need to set the keyword
UTF32Encoding to true in global param section.
