|Problem IC64161||Status: Closed|
GETGENERATEDKEYS RETURNS A NULL RESULTSET INSTEAD OF THE ACTUAL GENERATED IDENTITY VALUES
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
JDBC Applications can use the getGeneratedKeys method to retrieve the Identity column values generated by an INSERT. In JCC version 3.57.82 (shipped with DB2 v9.7 GA) this method incorrectly returns a NULL resultset.
Users Affected: JCC applications inserting data into Tables with Generated Identity columns using the getGeneratedKeys method to retrieve the generated Identity column value. Problem Description: The getGeneratedKeys method incorrectly returns NULL instead of the generated value. This problem occurs in JCC versions greater than 3.53.95 and less than 3.57.86
