DELETING ROWS FROM TABLE WITH PRIMARY KEY ON 2 VARCHAR COLUMNS LEAKS RITEM POOL MEMORY WHEN DTC CLEANER RUNS
product: | |
INFORMIX SERVER / 5725A3900 / E10 -
Problem description: | |
This defect was reported on a special build of 14.10.FC10 running linux x86-64 but should be platform independent. When deleting rows from a replicated table and rows are loaded into the corresponding delete tables with names like â œcdr_deltab_000002â , you will see the ritem pool grow when these cdr_deltabs are cleaned. The cleaning happens by DTC Cleaner threads that are created every 5 minutes. When the cdr_deltabs are created with primary keys that are created on two varchar columns, the DTC Cleaner will leak ritem memory and you will see that pool grow.
