"CDR MODIFY REPLICATE --CASCADEREPL Y|N" NEARLY INEFFECTIVE

| Problem description: |
For turning on or off a replicate's cascaderepl attribute, 'cdr
modify replicate' offers the '--cascaderepl y|n' option, same as
'cdr define replicate'. You'd use this, for instance, on a
template's replicates as template commands don't offer the
option.
The problem is this doesn't work properly:
when turning on the option on a replicate that didn't have it on
- cascade replication would not occur since the replicated
table,
wouldn't be flagged "TBLspace flagged for Cascade
Replication"
in 'oncheck -pt : on the source
- 'cdr list replicate' might not even show 'cascade'
depending on the replicate's other attributes
when turning the option off, on a replicated that had been
created with '--cascaderepl y',
- cascade replication would no longer occur
- yet the table (oncheck -pt) would continue to show
"TBLspace flagged for Cascade Replication" |
