INSTALL: KEEPING DOMAIN INSTALL DURING UPGRADE DOES NOT WORK IF LOCAL INFORMIX USER IS NOT PRESENT |

| Problem description: |
If upgrading IBM Informix Dynamic Server 10.00 Domain
installation to 11.50.TC1 and no informix user exists locally
both password entry fields are active. By just filling these
and continuing, a local installation occurs.
Installation works correctly if the local informix user exists. |

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When upgrading to IDS version 11.50, if the existing
installation was configured to run using domain-based users and
groups, the new installation will be automatically changed to
use users and groups from the local machine.

RECOMMENDATION:
Upgrade to Informix Dynamic Server version 11.50.xC2 or above.

Unchecking and checking the "Install in Domain" Checkbox works c
orrectly. |
| Solution |
Starting with IDS 11.50.xC2, the upgrade process now configures
the installation to use domain users whenever the previous
version uses domain users. |
