MASSIVE RALLOC MEMORY GROWTH WHEN EXECUTING IMMEDIATE BUFFER WITH MANY INSERTS ON TABLE WITH INSERT CURSOR

This problem was observed running 12.10.FC13 on linux x86_64. I
did not see the problem
nearly as bad on 11.70.FC8W1.
The test case involves an esql/c client that reads a file that
contains ~17000 inserts into a buffer
and then runs an execute immediate on that buffer. These
inserts are all against the same table
that contains an insert trigger.
Looking at an onstat -g ses you will see the ralloc pool
grow large rapidly. I've seen the test
use every bit of memory in an instance with SHMTOTAL set to 12GB
.
From an onstat -g afr, these are examples of the memory blocks
that are rapidly being allocated. Seems
like it's related to the number of cbs that are used for the
insert statements in the buffer
