AN ONSTAT -G SES OR ONSTAT -G SQL CAN LOOP PRINTING MANY "(" CHARACTERS RESULTING IN A LARGE ASSERTION FILE BEING CREATED

| Problem description: |
The instance that was running at the time was reporting some
memory corruption problems which resulted in an AF to be
generated.
While producing the "onstat -g ses 0" section of the AF, the
report ended up in a loop and printed many indented "("
characters resulting a very large file to be created which might
fill the file system. You will see something like the following
towards the end of the session report ...
