Informix - Problem description

Problem IT32783 Status: Closed

UPGRADE FROM 11.70.FC9 TO 14.10.FC3 OF DATABASE WITH SPATIAL BLADE LEAVES
OLD EXTERNAL NAME IN SYSPROCBODY FOR GEOMETRYEQUAL

product:
INFORMIX SERVER / 5725A3900 / E10 -
Problem description:
The following was reported after upgrading a special build of
11.70.FC9 to 14.10.FC3 on AIX64.

The problem has been reproduced on AIX64 upgrading 11.70.FC9 to
14.10.FC3.

After upgrading to 14.10.FC3, there appears to be a single row
in sysprocbody that has its data
column set to a create function that includes an external name
pointing to old spatial install.

For instance:

$ dbaccess stores_demo -
> select * from sysprocbody a, sysprocedures b where datakey =
"T" and
> data matches "*spatial.8.21.FC5*" and a.procid = b.procid;

procid          795
datakey         T
seqno           1
data            create function Equal(ST_Geometry,ST_Geometry)
returns boolean
                   with (not variant, parallelizable)
                   external name
'$INFORMIXDIR/extend/spatial.8.21.FC5/spatial.
