SYNCSQLHOSTS.EXE FAILS TO SYNC SQLHOSTS WITH WINDOWS REGISTRY WHEN INSTANCE IS INITIALIZED USING ONINIT

| Problem description: |
On Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Edition and
Informix version 12.10.FC14 when trying to start the engine
with oninit, syncsqlhosts.exe throws a warning message:
Verbose output complete: mode = 5
C:PROGRA~1IBMINF~1insyncsqlhosts.exe [-source
] [-target ] [-servers {serverlist
}]
if source or target is not specified it defaults to local
informixsqlhosts registery node
sqlhostvalue is either \machine name or an sqlhosts file.
serverlist is a space seperated list of informix server entries
that are copyed from source to target
The terminal won't be released until CTRL+C when the engine
shuts down. The workaround is to disabled the Scheduler API
sync_registry
task:
database sysadmin;
update ph_task set tk_enable='f' where tk_name='sync_registry'; |
