Informix - Problem description

ASSERT FAILURE OR HANG POSSIBLE ON PRIMARY SERVER WHEN USING CDCAND HDR
SECONDARY SERVER

Problem description:
An Informix server using 14.10.FC4W1 with CDC sessions and a
connected HDR secondary server may experience an Assert Failure
or hang and become unresponsive. The affected thread will be the
dr_prsend thread which communicates with the HDR secondary. An
example of the stack in the Assert Failure:

If a hang occurs then same dr_prsend thread may be seen in a
constantly running state. Using a command such as pstack or
procstack to obtain the stack of the CPU VP oninit process on
which the dr_prsend thread runs may show a stack similar to:

In both cases a restart of the primary server will be required.
