IBM Informix - Revised Software License Terms

The terms and conditions in the software license for various Informix editions are revised to improve clarity and remove certain restrictions on the use of the products.
Informix Advanced Workgroup Edition:
- The Informix Warehouse Accelerator component can be used in conjunction with another Advanced edition.
- You can now use HDR, RSS, and SDS with the same terms that apply to Informix Workgroup Edition.
- Prohibited components are explicitly listed for clarity. In the previous license, the prohibited components could be found in the Informix Workgroup Edition license (a supporting program).
- The previous limit of 1600 in PVU pricing is lifted.
Informix Advanced Enterprise Edition:
The Informix Warehouse Accelerator component can be used in conjunction with another Advanced edition.
Informix Workgroup Edition, Informix Innovator-C Edition, Informix Express Edition:
Partitioning is no longer mentioned in the license. Partitioning entitlement remains enforced in the product, as before.
