DB2 - Problem description

Problem IT36474 Status: Closed

WILD POINTER REQUEST->AGT_RUNTIME_OBJ IN SQLQG_SIGNAL_HANDLER LEADS TO
DATABASE CRASH

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / B50 - DB2
Problem description:
sqlqg_signal_handler is called when errors are detected in db2
edu agent. sqlqg_signal_handler is responsible to dump the sqqg
(federation) runtime objects before the Db2 edu exit. In this
function it references a structure pointer and try to get the
data member of that structure. The pointer has been validated by
checking if it is' NULL' before actually using it. But the
memory that the pointer points to has been freed, it is a code
bug that this pointer has not been set to 'NULL'.
