DB2 - Problem description
Problem IT37217 | Status: Closed |
BEING UNABLE TO CREATE LOGSTREAM SUBDIRECTORIES SHOULD NOT FAIL ROLLFORWARD
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / B50 - DB2
Problem description: | |
When performing a ROLLFORWARD command a LOGSTREAM directory is created in the overflow log path during path initialization. If it fails, the rollforward fails - even when noretrieve option is used. The path should be created the first time log is retrieved (so notretrieve can proceed), and even if it fails at that time, it should use the active path retrieve directory to proceed.
