1. Usage Restrictions

1.1 Non-Production Limitation

IBM Informix Developer Edition is designated as "Non-Production", the Program can only be deployed as part of the Licensee's internal development and test environment for internal non-production activities, including but not limited to testing, performance tuning, fault diagnosis, internal benchmarking, staging, quality assurance activity and/or developing internally used additions or extensions to the Program using published application programming interfaces.

1.2 Install Limitation

The total amount of resources allocated to a given Informix Install, including all database instances managed by the Install, cannot exceed:

1.2.1 Processor Limitation

The Program allows a maximum of one (1) Informix CPU Virtual Processor. Attempts to configure more than one (1) CPU Virtual Processor will result in an error.

1.2.2 Memory Allocation Limitation

The Program allows a maximum of one (1) Gigabyte of shared memory. Attempts to configure more than one (1) Gigabyte of memory will result in an error.

1.2.3 Database Size Limitation

The Program allows a maximum of eight (8) Gigabytes of database server storage. Attempts to configure more than eight (8) Gigabytes of storage space will result in an error.
