Compatibility

IBM Informix 12.10 does not support the HP-UX PA-RISC operating system.

Installing IBM Informix 12.10.xC12

The "onsnmp" subagent and Blade Manager utility have been deprecated and will no longer be installed in the next release.

IBM Data Server driver, DataBlade Developers Kit (DBDK) and IBM OpenAdmin Tool (OAT) for Informix will no longer be packaged with the Informix server. The latest version of IBM Data Server driver can be downloaded from https://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral. The latest version of OAT can be downloaded from https://www.ibm.com/analytics/us/en/technology/informix.

Known problems

At time of publication, the following problems were known:

Removing users when you uninstall the database server
If there are multiple installations of the product on the computer, and you are uninstalling one of the products, be careful when you use the Remove users and groups option. Do not remove users or groups that are required by the other installations of the product. If you remove users or groups that are required by the other products, the other products will not start or they will be inoperable.
