Sub-capacity licensing for IDS Enterprise
Unlimited Users Edition V10 improves flexibility and price/performance
(IBM Software Announcement ENUS206-264, dated October 17, 2006)
Overview:
Sub-capacity licensing is a strategic IBM offering within the On Demand portfolio. It lets you license selected IBM products for use on less than the full-processor capacity of your machine, when they are used within one or more partitions. For a list of partitioning technologies supported under sub-capacity licensing terms, refer to Software Announcement 206-090, dated April 25, 2006.
In addition, the names of all IDS Enterprise Unlimited Editions have been changed to IDS Enterprise Unlimited Users Editions to clarify existing terms in the product name itself. This is a name change only. Licensing and terms and conditions are unaffected.
